Age Concern England
The UK's largest organisation working with and for older people. Age Concern support all people over 50 in the UK, providing essential services such as day care and information. Age Concern also campaign on issues like age discrimination and pensions, and work to influence public opinion and government policy about older people.
Aim Higher
Aimhigher is a national programme run by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) with support from the Department for Education and Skills (DfES).
Citizens Advice Bureaux
The Citizens Advice Bureaux are members of Citizens Advice, the national charity which sets standards for advice and equal opportunities and supports bureaux with an information system, training and other services. The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice from locations throughout the UK, and by influencing policymakers.
